The little kiwi has been placed in an outdoor pen in rediness for going back to the wild.

The little Kiwi likes to come out from about 10.30 pm,so keep watching in the later evening.

We now have a Kiwi Chick it is about 12 days old and enjoying its food.

It is from Kerikeri area.

The Weka has gone back to Russell today for release back to the wild.

The cross bill Kiwi is now back in the wild,it is reported to be doing well.

We now have a young Weka.

The Kiwi Egg hatched on that special day and is doing well.

The camera is not turned on in the incubator unit, as he has been transferred to a brooder box

for the next stage.

Watch the Webcam the Kiwi egg is almost ready to hatch.

The Kiwi with the crossed bill is progressing well and will be going back to the wild shortly.

It now weighs 402 grams.

The Kiwi chick from Sandy Bay is now 311 grams in weight.

Its bill is starting to straighten out very nicely.
